Tablet vs Netbook : Who wins the battle ?
Tablet or Netbook. An ongoing heated discussion about the selection
among these power-saving little pieces of technology has been a common
scenario on web. For a genuine buyer, to choose between either of two,
its just a matter of Common sense and couple of 'Google searches'. This
article doesn't provides you or bias you to buy the right one for you.
This is intended to help you choose yourself wisely.
What differentiates the netbook & a Tab. Well its not
important after all, because other than an absence of keyboard and
presence of touchscreen theres not much of a difference. The most
important factor is that whether it suits your purpose. 
With comparable
prices, in terms of productivity and works, netbook wins hands down. The
Linux/windows operating system, combined with all types of free/paid
Apps is definitely suitable for users who works with Documents,
programming, browsing net, and similar works.
Talking about tabs, expecially galaxy tabs, Ipads etc. they are
brilliant devices. In terms of battery life, they are in par with
Netbooks more or less. The touch interface coupled with Android/IOS
makes it more user friendly and give its Looks. There are a couple of
productivity apps in android/ios, but i doubt anyone is going to do it
for a long period . In the case of Gaming, watching movies i think tabs
are much more flexible than netbook. There are lot of amazing Touch apps
out there.
By the way Asus is planning a hybrid netbook tab, which has a
removable display and connectable keyboard [More details(Link below)].
Maybe that will end the discussion soon and start a new one.
