How to Install Evergreen theme in Ubuntu 12.04/12.10

Ubuntu is customizable , we can add other themes , icons folders and more. Here we are talking about how to install Evergreen theme in Ubuntu os. Evergreen is GTK 3.X theme , which support Ubuntu, Linux Mint and almost all distributions. To get effect we prefer you to download new icon set.Ok lets start


1. Install Ubuntu Tweak  , install latest version.

2. Download Greenish wallpapers

3. Download evergreen theme 

Install 7zip and extract it 

4. Open your Home folder , 

Click on View ( from top menu bar ) View Hidden files 

Create a new folder and rename it as .themes . Copy extracted theme folder to this folder 

5. Download faenza_icons_by_tiheum-d2v6x24  or Install it 

Installation via terminal 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install faenza-icon-theme

or you can download from above link. Extract downloaded folder

Open Terminal

Then type

cd Downloads/faenza_icons_by_tiheum-d2v6x24/
sudo ./INSTALL

Enter your password and Follow  instructions

Icon installation completed


6. Open Ubuntu tweaks

Ubuntu Tweaks
 Click on Themes
Ubuntu Tweaks - change themes 

Select Evergreen GTK theme and Window theme. Icon theme - Faenaza (any one )
