PENTIUM ONE
...................................................................................

They were invented in 1993.64 bit data bus and 32 bit data bus. Actually there address bus work in 32 bit

They had 60 MHz clock speed. These processors have 16kb L1 cache. They have 3,100,000 transistors. Socket 7 motherboard used for this type of processor.

PENTIUM MMX

…………………………………………………………………………………………….

These processors are particularly for multimedia applications. These processors were available in the market in 1997. These processors had the speed of 166 MHz to 266 MHz

These processors had 4,700,000 transistors. Gap between each transistor was .35 micron.

These processors were suitable for multimedia application and personal computer

PENTIUM 2

………………………………………………………………………………………………

One of the best micro-processors. They have 100 MHz front side bus speed. There is some processors had 400 MHz speed. XEON processors were used for server computer.

PENTIUM 3

………………………………………………………………………………………………

This processor was come in 1999. These processors have PGA 370 sockets. These processors have 100 MHz and 133 MHz bus speed. They have 256 kb L2 cache memory.

Other new and best features are superior 3D for better video performance and internet streaming support. This processors have 28,000,000 transistors .distance between two adjacent transistor were .18 micron

Some other fast and powerful model also available, they have 450 to 1.4 GHz speed.

In these processors 450-600 MHz processors were slot processors and other processors were in PGA 370 models.

450 MHz – 1 GHz processors have 256 kbL2 cache .1.13 GHz, 1.26 GHz, 1.4 GHz processors have 512 kb L2 cache. These processors have addition of 32 kb 0r 16 Kb L1 cache.
